TASK:

Students researched the Ancient Latin American civilizations, like the Mayans, Aztecs, or Incas. Using a variety of sources of information, students researched the history, geography, government, religion, culture, and achievements of their civilization. Students took notes, paying special attention to paraphrasing and significance. Students made inferences about which information to include in their essays, and they used their research to inform their architectural models. Students practiced tolerance and understanding, as they studied cultures different from their own.
