Vision Statement:

The Mott Hall School, P.S./ I.S. 223, graduates will be independent and inquisitive young people on the path to becoming life-long learners and doers. All learning at Mott Hall takes place in the context of the age of technology. In a family atmosphere which is both caring and firm, students are challenged by a rigorous, scholastic program. They are nurtured and enriched with activities that address their development progress from childhood to adolescence. Mott Hall teachers not only encourage creativity and critical thinking, but self-discipline, character, responsibility, and conceptual understanding. The school's instructional program is designed to provide all the students with the knowledge base, attitudes and competencies they need to pursue higher learning.
