Mott Hall has been recognized nationally and internationally for its constructivist, project based learning approach. It has been twice honored Blue Ribbon School by the United States Department of Education. As of 2007, Mott Hall has been replicated seven times, both as high schools and junior high schools. The goal is to expand its success to other parts of New York City
